Google hates junk mail. That’s a good thing. Google recently followed Hotmail’s suit in allowing Gmail users to report email as spam and simultaneously send an unsubscribe request to the email sender.

People are accustomed to seeing certain links in specific places, and they expect to see them there on your website, too. If you make it easy for people to get around your site, they are more likely to use it.
